Top-25 junior Jacob Wilkins, the son of NBA Hall of Famer Dominique Wilkins, has committed to his father’s alma mater Georgia.
The 6-foot-7 wing out of Grayson High School (GA.) chose the Bulldogs over finalist Virginia.
“I will be taking my talents to, Go Dawgs, University of Georgia,” he said on On3 with Joe Tipton.
“I just feel at home, I trust everyone there and I know I come in there with a last name, but I want to make my own name going there, not just being the son of Dominique Wilkins, but Jacob Wilkins.”
Jacob’s brother, Isaiah Wilkins, played for Virginia from 2014-18 and is now an assistant on the staff.
Jacob Wilkins, Dominique Wilkins’ son, is down to 2 schools: Georgia and Virginia.
He’s ranked as a top 20 player in the 2025 class

He is the first commit in Georgia’s class of 2025 and their second overall commit in the past week, joining 2024 five-star Asa Newell.
The Bulldogs also remain in the mix for five-star Derrion Reid and four-star Khani Rooths.
Wilkins slates to be one of the highest recruits in program history, a group highlighted by 2020 NBA Draft No. 1 pick Anthony Edwards.
