The Atlanta Falcons came out swinging in the first quarter of Sunday’s game against the Minnesota Vikings, but the wheels gradually fell off in the second half and the Falcons were defeated by a final score of 42-21.
Kirk Cousins returned to the city where he spent the last six seasons only to have another poor showing. The defense made some nice plays early and despite finishing with four sacks, they couldn’t slow Vikings quarterback Sam Darnold. The Falcons are now 6-7 after losing their fourth consecutive game.
