The Atlanta Falcons dropped to 1-2 after Sunday night’s 22-17 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, but it’s a long season and there was a lot to like about the team’s Week 3 performance. With the ball in the red zone and a chance to take the lead with less than a minute left, the Falcons stumbled.
A questionable fourth-down run call ended poorly with Bijan Robinson getting stuffed behind the line of scrimmage. The team turned the ball over on downs leaving fans at Mercedes-Bens Stadium with a bitter taste in their mouth. Quarterback Kirk Cousins got off to a red-hot start before his lack of mobility caught up with him in the second half.
