On Friday, the Atlanta Falcons signed defensive lineman LaCale London to a reserve/future contract, bringing their total to 15 players. The veteran defender spent the last two years on the Falcons practice squad but did not appear in a game this season.
London, 27, went undrafted out of Western Illinois before landing with the Chicago Bears in 2020. He appeared in one game for the Bears in 2021 but was waived ahead of the 2022 season. London would later sign with the Falcons practice squad in 2023, appearing in seven games.
When he returned to Atlanta in 2024, London remained on the practice squad for the entire season. The veteran defensive lineman has recorded 13 combined tackles over eight career games for the Bears and Falcons.
