Atlanta Falcons linebacker James Smith-Williams left Sunday’s game against the New Orleans Saints after going down on the first play of the second half.
Smith-Williams jogged off the field on his own power following the play, adding to an already concerning list of injuries the Falcons have struggled with on Sunday.
This isn’t the first time Smith-Williams has been injured this season, suffering an upper-body injury in the Week 7 matchup against the Seattle Seahawks.
The veteran linebacker has yet to post anything to the stat sheet to this point in the game. He entered the contest with 24 combined tackles (12 solo) and 1 sack.
The Falcons currently trail the Saints, 20-10 with just over seven minutes left to play in the third quarter.
