We have the first practice report of the week.
Wednesday is upon us, as the Atlanta Falcons and Los Angeles Chargers began practicing for Sunday’s matchup. It’s a short week for the Chargers, who played on Monday night this week, as they try to get healthy quick for their road test in Atlanta.
You can expect to see the injury reports here every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

It’s only the first practice of the week, so don’t panic, but the Falcons do open with a lengthly injury report. Good thing is a lot of the listed names were at least limited to start the week and not held out of practice. The only player who didn’t practice for the Falcons was receiver KhaDarel Hodge, who is dealing with a neck issue. We will keep an eye on this heading into tomorrow.
For the Chargers, some big news was announced Wednesday as running back JK Dobbins, who sustained a knee injury in their most recent Monday night game, has been ruled out against the Falcons. It sounds like that injury is going to have a multi-week impact for the Chargers. Expect to see Gus Edwards starting in his place.
