The rookie quarterback still has some growing to do but he’s pulled off some impressive highlights in his first few starts, including this TD.
Okay Atlanta, we are back in business…for now.
The Atlanta Falcons came out looking unprepared in a situation where a win is not only mandatory for possible playoff hopes, but for the first record over .500 in 2,562 days.
Luckily for Atlanta, they are still the more talented team and they proved it as they drove down the field on the Carolina Panthers to the tune of a 10-play, 70-yard drive. That long drive was capped off by Michael Penix’s first-ever rushing touchdown as he stretched his entire 6’2” frame across the goal line to tie the football game 10-10.
PENIX FOR THE PYLON.

Alright, the monkey is off their backs. The ball is in the end zone. it’s time for this Falcons team to start to get rolling and play like the playoff team they are supposed to be. There have been some incredibly frustrating moments on both sides of the ball for Atlanta, but hopefully this touchdown can be a sign of better play ahead of us.
