The Atlanta Falcons are taking their time putting together a coaching staff for 2025. The team must fill two positions after dismissing defensive coordinator Jimmy Lake and defensive line coach Jay Rodgers last week. Thus far, the Falcons have been linked to four names for their defensive coordinator vacancy.
Two candidates — Michigan defensive coordinator Wink Martindale and New York Jets interim coach Jeff Ulbrich — have completed interviews while two others — former Bengals DC Lou Anarumo and former Cardinals head coach Steve Wilks — are set to meet with the team next week.

Keep up with each reported interview using our Falcons defensive coordinator tracker. The team has not been linked to former Jets coach Robert Saleh, but that’s likely because he’s still interviewing for head-coaching vacancies.
In other Falcons coaching news, special teams coordinator Marquice Williams has been named head coach for the East team at the 2025 Shrine Bowl.
